Accomplishments include: o "16 & Pregnant" o "Teen Mom" seasons 1, 2, 3 o "Teen Mom Check-up with Dr. Drew" seasons 1,2,3 o "Teen Mom Farewell Special" As an original cast member for this MTV series, I played the role of the mother of a teen mom. The purpose of the show was to demonstrate the difficulties faced by the teens when they don't practice safe sex using birth control. The success of the show has resulted in lowing the teen pregnancy birth rate in the U.S. by 25% which has been quoted in academic journals as a 40 year low. In doing the show I was also required to do voice overs, commercials, and magazine interviews and photo sessions. I do public speaking engagements upon request.
